Description
Aluminum 1070 is industrial pure aluminum, not belong to aluminum alloy, the minimum content of aluminum is 99.7%. 1070 aluminum has the characteristics of high plasticity, corrosion resistance, good electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity, but its strength is low. It is not strengthened by heat treatment, and its cutting property is not good. Contact welding and gas welding are acceptable.

Heat Treatment
Industrial pure aluminium can not be strengthened by heat treatment, but can be strengthened by cold deformation. The only form of heat treatment is annealing.
1.Complete annealing: heating 390-430 degrees centigrade,holding time is from 30mintues to120 minutes depends on different thickness of material; cooling with furnace at 30-50 degrees centigrade per hour to 300 degrees centigrade, and then air-cooling.
2.Rapid annealing: Heating 350-370 degrees centigrade, holding time 30-120 minutes depending on material effective thickness; Air or water cooling.
3.Quenching and aging: quenching 500-510 degrees centigrade, air cooling; artificial aging 95-105 degrees centigrade, 3 hours, air cooling; natural aging room temperature 120 hours.

Application
Industrial pure aluminium 1070 can not be strengthened by heat treatment, but can be strengthened by cold deformation. The only form of heat treatment is annealing. Widely used in products with low strength requirements, such as chemical instruments, sheet parts, deep drawing or spinning concave utensils, welding parts, heat exchangers, bell and disk surfaces, nameplates, kitchen utensils, decorations, reflective appliances, aluminum foil is made into gaskets and capacitors, isolation network of electronic tubes, protective sheath of wires and cables, nets, wiring cores and parts and decorations of aircraft ventilation system.
